PESHAWAR: Mahmood Khan, Chief Minister – KP and Mr. Taimur Khan Jhagra, Health & Finance Minister- KP Inaugurated KP’s first 20 modular OT’s at Khyber Teaching hospital on 11 May, 2022. These Modular OT’s were completed under the budget of Rs. 350 million.
During the media talk CM-KP, Mr. Mahmood Khan said it’s a very brilliant step by KP government which will revolutionize the concept of healthcare in KP and will provide the maximum possible benefits to the people of this region.
KP is providing FREE facilities of quality healthcare services to the people of KP through Sehat Card & now they will get advance technology treatment under Sehat card as well.
Moreover he said that we are facing some budget issue due to federal govt. policies but we will fight till end for the rights of KP people & in upcoming months you will see some more development work.
At last he thanks the Khyber Teaching Hospital Management Dean KTH/KMC Prof. Dr. Mahmud Aurangzeb, Hospital Director – Dr. Zafar Afridi & Medical Director – Dr. Muhammad Siraj for this historic achievement which will be remember as always.
In a press briefing Khyber Teaching Hospital Management shed some light on modular OT’s which focuses on achieving safety, precision, and efficiency of the entire operating team. So far now KTH has completed 20 modular OT. They are designed to streamline the workflow and provide better patient health outcomes by the elimination of wastage of time and resources.
Modular OT’s increase the efficiency and effectiveness of work and KTH Modular Operation Theatres are useful for single specialty and multi-specialty procedures. These Theatres has four zones i.e. protective zone, clean zone, sterile zone, and disposable zone.
These modular Operation Theatres has advanced OT lights and Ceiling lights with adjustable intensities and colors. Khyber Teaching Hospital is providing not only a safe environment for patients, but also a relaxed working environment for health care providers.
