PESHAWAR: Health department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Drug Control has taken action against illegal drugs in Mardan, raid on Jamal Plaza along with district administration, large consignment of government drugs recovered, drug testing lab left for Hayatabad for sample analysis of drugs Action was also taken against the seller
The Health Department Drug Control Wing along with the district administration in Mardan, while taking action against illegal drugs, recovered a large consignment of government drugs during a raid on Jamal Plaza. According to Deputy Secretary Drugs Ibrahim Khan, the seized drugs include Dettol Liquid, Canola, Sergey Cape, Piodine, Flucath and other counterfeit and substandard drugs.
He further said that samples of drugs have been sent to Hayatabad Drug Testing Lab for analysis. After which proceedings will be initiated against the accused under the Drug Act 1976.
He further said that while taking action on the post circulating on social media, the Peshawar team has also initiated action against the drug dealer in Firdous Bazaar. All the medicines loaded on the cart have been seized while action has been initiated against the accused.
